ZPG Series Disk Vacuum Filter

Zenith ZPG Series Disk Vacuum Filter mainly used for solid-liquid separation with the vacuum as the filtering power. With high filtration coefficient and reliable performance, it can be used as the ideal filter for iron concentrate, copper concentrate, sulphur concentrate, Ti concentrate and other non-ferrous metal concentrate and nonmetallic ore concentrate dewatering and tailing dewatering.

Working Principle

This kind of disk vacuum filter is made of each individual fan-shaped disk. Each fan-shaped disk is a unique filtering unit. And the fan-shaped disk is covered with the filter cloth which forms a filter chamber. The motor drives the filter disk through reducer and gear. Then the filter disk circles clockwise in the slurry tank. With the help of different pressure generated by vacuum pump, the particles are absorbed on the cloth of the disc and forming a filter cake with a certain thickness. Mixer rotation prevents solids' precipitation at the same time. When the filter cake leaves from the liquid surface of slurry tank, the dehydration is going on, also with the help of vacuum pump.

At last, through the filter cake and cloth, filtrate will discharge from the central shaft pipe, and the filter cake will fall down under the pressure of the scraper and blower in the discharging tank.

Working Conditions

  1. The solid particles in the ore pulp should be between 100 mesh to 400 mesh;
  2. The ore pulp should be non – corrosive and with temperature between 10℃ to 50℃;
  3. The ideal concentration of the ore pulp should be between 35%-65% (metallic ores) or between 20%-40% (coal or other light materials).
