Application

Zenith ZGT Series High Gradient Magnetic Separator is suitable for separating weak magnetic ores such as hematite, manganese ore, limonite, and tantalum-niobium ores, and also for de-ironing or purifying non-metallic materials like quartz, feldspar, fluorite and kaolin etc. The best fineness for separation is -0.074mm (200 mesh) accounting for 60-100% or -2mm.

Working Principle

Put a certain number of sorting cans made of magnetic stainless steel in the pin mounted solenoid coil. After excitation, the stainless steel will be magnetized, and there will be a magnetic field with different gradients on the surface (high gradient magnetized magnetic field). The paramagnetic material will adsorb on the surface of the stainless steel while others go through the stainless steel directly and enter the tank.

  • The ring is rotated vertically and concentrates are washed reversely, so magnetic medium will not be blocked easily;
  • Slurry pulsating devices keep ore particles loosen all the time, thus improving quality of magnetic concentrates;
  • Their separation size range is large and the max separation size is 2.0mm. Therefore, it simplifies classification work at working sites;
  • High beneficiation ratio and high recovery rate; Simple operation and easy maintenance with good adaptability.
